On a trip to Florence, Italy in 1983, Il Giardino co-owner Tony Gargiulo saw a wood burning stove and knew it would be the centerpiece for the soon-to-open restaurant. The first in Virginia, the oven serves up fresh focaccia bread and pizza to order. All of our delicious menu items are prepared with the freshest and highest quality ingredients we can find. All of our sauces are made from scratch and every item is made to order. Il Giardino's offers veal, seafood, chicken, pasta, vegetarian and pizza creations that are all taste sensations. Add the lively sounds from our newly expanded piano bar and lounge, and it's no wonder Il Giardino is such a popular local spot.
