On a trip to Florence, Italy in 1983, Il Giardino founder Tony Gargiulo saw a wood burning oven and knew it would be the centerpiece
for the soon-to-open restaurant. The first in Virginia, our oven serves up fresh focaccia bread and pizza to order.
